Taking place at the Queenspark, Parklands and Brooker Avenue, Burwood disc golf courses.

Attention Disc Golfers

Apologies for the late notice, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been forced to change the format, location and nature of this year’s Peter Crowther Memorial (PCM8).

It will now be a non NZ National Tour event. Instead, it will be a private, invitation-only event to celebrate the life and times of Peter Crowther with some awesome disc golf competition to boot.

Unfortunately for us (but fortunately for the growth of our great sport) recently the Jellie Park DGC has become just too popular to shut it down to casual play for 2 full days of tournament play, and so I’m very excited to be showcasing two of my other favourite disc golf course designs, the Queenspark 9 hole course in Parklands and the nearby Brooker Avenue 9 hole course in part of the Burwood red zone, Christchurch.

So, the format for the PCM8 will be as follows:

Saturday 12th Sept: 36 holes Queenspark 9 Hole Course – Brooker Av 9 Hole Course. Lunchbreak Queenspark 9 Hole Course – Brooker Av 9 Hole Course.

Sunday 13th Sept: 18 holes Queenspark 9 Hole Course – Brooker Av 9 Hole Course. followed by a final Queenspark Safari Super Six (Top Six players play six more holes to decide overall positions).

All existing registrations have been accepted, and transferred to the new event. There are still plenty of spaces available.

Players who have already registered but wish to withdraw, may do so and receive a full refund right up until 11.59pm on the 9th September.

Other players will need to send a registration email to me first (chris.h.davies@gmail.com), before depositing their registration fee. I will send you an invitation, and you will then be able to make your payment.

NB The registration cut off day is Wednesday 9th September at 11.59pm so email me now to get your entry in.
