Sanctioning your event with NZDG & PDGA

The process for sanctioning PDGA Events in NZ will change from 1 June 26. (Read the full notice here)

 

To sanction your event after 1st June 2026;

1) Check your dates for clashes by looking at Discgolfscene.com for other events listed. if unsure reach out to our GM or Tour Director for a chat about potential clashes.

NB1: Tournament Directors of events within 3hrs travel of each other are expected to communicate with each other and gain each others approval to sanction the second event.

NB2: NZ Nationals is the only event that has exclusive sanctioning - no other events will be sanctioned  on the same weekend as Nationals.

2) Apply for NZDG Sanctioning and pay your Community Contributions by completing this form.

​

3) On completion and approval of NZDG Sanctioning, you can proceed to PDGA Sanctioning here.

4) List your event on Discgolfscene.com so others can see your dates and location

 

5) Your good to go!

​

NB: You do not need NZDG Sanctioning for PDGA Leagues, or unsanctioned events run via UDisc
