Accommodation The Scout Camp has facilities to sleep plenty of people (just under 80) in comfortable accommodation through a number of huts. These will be first come first served, so get in early to be sure of on site accommodation. Also please let us know in your registration if you know who you would like to share a cabin with, as this will be your opportunity to choose otherwise it will be random. There are 4 people to each room. Accommodation will be available Thurs Friday and Saturday nights. You will, however, need your own bedding/sleeping bags. On site accommodation available will be limited, so being quick if you want to ensure you get a spot. If you want to bring Family down and stay let us know when you put your entry in so we can confirm this. We will do a family rate for accommodation, as we know it can be expensive getting the whole family away.
Accommodation fee: 3 nights (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) $100
Strictly no camping or staying in caravan/campervan for this event in the Scout Camp property.
Schedule This year at Hyzlander we are sticking with the format from our last event, and will be using tee times for this event rather than the NZ standard of shotgun starts. We are hopeful that this will again allow everyone to not only get a solid amount of disc golf in over the weekend but will also allow you to watch and support some of you friends and family that may be playing. This year we have changed the course to give us a full 27 hole layout (which will be released soon. The tournament will comprise 2 Rounds, 1 per day,and as mentioned above we will be using tee times for the event as opposed to the shotgun starts we are all used to.
So the Schedule will be as follows: (schedule is subject to change if it is required)
Thursday 28th January 6:00pm – Accommodation available for those competitors staying on Thursday night Note: Course is NOT available for practice on Thursday
Friday 29th January 7:00am – Groups published 10:00am – Course will available for practice 7:00pm – Players meeting at the Scout Camp Main Hall Evening events TBC
