Notice of NZDG Annual General Meeting 2025 - May 8th, 2025 @ 8pm
Dear New Zealand Disc Golf Members,
Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held on Thursday 08 May at 8:00 p.m. by video conference (Google Meets). The Meeting will open 15-minutes early to allow everyone to join in good order.
The timeline leading up to the AGM is as follows:
Between now and 8:00 p.m. on Friday 18th of April (20 days before the Meeting):
● Members may be nominated for election to the Board.
● Nominations and a second must be sent to the Chair by e-mail: chair@nzdg.org.nz ● Members may not self nominate or self second.
○ Board positions include Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Tour Director, Communications, Deputy Chair, and Outreach.
○ Descriptions can be found here NZDG Constitution
● Candidates for election must complete a NZDG Conflict of Interest Declaration Form: Conflict of Interest Form. Send to Chair@nzdg.org.nz
● Candidates for election are encouraged to write a short letter of candidacy for publication on our website. Please also send this to chair@nzdg.org.nz
● Members may submit any Member Motions to be raised at the AGM. where possible assistance will be provided to word these in an acceptable format
You should expect to vote on additional Directors motions at the AGM relating to the structure and method of our membership system. Other Directors' Motions may be included for voting also.
The AGM will include the announcement of top NZDG Tour players by category.
In Addition we seek the following by Email to Chair@nzdg.org.nz
● Nominations for Contributions to Disc Golf Award
○ The top five members receiving nominations will be added to the election ballot.
By 10.00 p.m. on Wednesday 23rd April (15 days before the Meeting):
NZDG will confirm any nominated candidates. Our priority is to construct a board of 7 Directors providing our members with the strongest possible representation.
By 1130 p.m. on Monday 28th April (10 days before the Meeting):
NZDG will publish and send to Members:
● The Agenda of the Meeting.
● Documents for consideration leading up to the Meeting.
● All Motions to be voted on at the Meeting.
● Link to secure online e-voting.
● Link for the AGM video meeting.
Members are encouraged to have voted electronically. E-voting will end 24 hours before the meeting.
